Fortyeight.net: Reign Online's Service Policy

AGREEMENT INFORMATION
 
By using the Reign Online service ("Reign") provided by the Fortyeight Network ("Fortyeight"), you (the "User") will be held responsible by all current policies in this Service Policy agreement (the "Agreement") as well as any future modifications.  Fortyeight may update this Agreement at any given time without any notice given to Users. To check for future changes, User's may visit: http://www.reigngame.com/sp.php.
Reign is a privately owned game and all visitors are required to abide by rules set forth by all installed Reign's staff (the "Developers"), appointed administrators (the "Administrators"), and this Agreement.
This Agreement has five main sections:
  • 1. BRIEF OVERVIEW
  • 2. CONDUCT
  • 3. ACCESS RESTRICTION
  • 4. LOGGING
  • 5. PRIVACY
1. BRIEF OVERVIEW
 
This policy of the Agreement (a "Stipulation") is intended as an overview and in no way over-rules any other Stipulation.  Other Stipluations will be treated with more significance, and this Stipulation cannot depreciate any other Stipulation.
 
  1. You must be 13 years or older to chat via Reign.
  2. Show respect for other players by not cursing or using offensive language in any public area of Reign (chats, alliance names, etc).
    A few words that some consider questionable but are allowed are: crap, damn, dammit, darn, hell. If used in a negative context against another User, repercussions may arise.
  3. No flooding of Reign's public chat.
  4. Do not harass other Users or members of the Fortyeight staff using Reign or any other chat medium.
  5. Do not make personal insults or unwanted personal remarks.
  6. Do not make real-life threats.
  7. Do not create multiple accounts with the intent to represent multiple Users. If your have multiple accounts on different worlds, you are limited to TWO (2) accounts in total.
  8. Do not avoid any temporary or permanent bans applied to an account.
  9. Do not make unwanted or offensive religious statements. If a User is offended, action will be taken.
  10. Do not mention, refer to, link, and/or advertise the use or promotion of sexual, explicit, and/or otherwise inappropriate material, words, phrases, and/or slang.
  11. Report all glitches and bugs found while using Reign (best method: http://www.atayacreative.com/48/reignforums/).
    Note: Major exploits should be reported directly to Developers by reporting through Reign's 'Request Improvement' section.
  12. Do not exploit glitches, errors, mistakes, and/or exploits that you may discover within Reign. Report them as soon as they're found through Reign's 'Request Improvement' section.
  13. Do not attempt to share, steal, and/or gain access to any other User's account.
  14. Do not excessively advertise other web sites, IRC channels, and/or other type of material.
  15. Do not `land share` (Exchanging land by mutual agreement via war between two or more players).
  16. If you are using a shared connection to play Reign, please contact a GM to avoid accidental account suspension.
  


2. CONDUCT
 
We expect a certain level of dignity by Users to other Users and Developers. Please refrain from cursing or using offensive language in the main chat. Respect other Users by refraining from personal insults and real-life threats - be they valid or invalid claims - is expected by all Users. To act otherwise will result in a punishment warranted by the action.

3. ACCESS RESTRICTION
 
Failure of a User to abide by the Agreement may result in, but not limited to, any of the following actions by the Developers:
 
  • Mute on Reign's chat feature
  • Locking of User's account(s) for further investigation
  • Deletion of User's account(s) from Reign
  • Ban from Reign
  • Contacting User's Internet Service Provider with an abuse claim
  • Legal action against User if needed
  

Should the owners of Reign (a privately owned entity) decide it is nessisary, we reserve the right to, at any time:
 
  • Mute your account
  • Lock your account
  • Delete your account
  • Ban you from Reign
  


4. LOGGING
 
 
  • All chat communication messages are logged in the event of litigation.
  • All actions by Users through their accounts are logged and may be used for investigation and/or development.


5. PRIVACY
 
All personal information collected through Reign is and never will be releasesd to any company/third-party.
We respect your information, and we ourselves realize the aggrevation such actions may cause.
We hold your privacy to be very important, and we will not send e-mails unless requested by said account tied to the e-mail. The only exception to this is when signing up for an account.
